My family migrated to New Zealand when I was 18 years old. After spending some time travelling and working around the country I settled in Auckland and completed my Bachelor of Sciences Degree specialising in Biological Sciences. I then moved to Hamilton with my partner and studied to be a secondary teacher. I have taught in a large city school, a smaller country school and overseas in the UK. In this time I have worked as an Across School Leader for the Morrinsville Kāhui Ako and the Leader of Science Learning. I am currently working on completing my Masters in Contemporary Education.

I am passionate about helping young people find their place in the world and it is an honour to be one of the Deputy Principals for Mangakōtukutuku College.
